ok first let me say, I did not intend for the title to rhyme, but I kinda like that it does.
So I got a call from a customer. They were dog sitting their sons puppy (Terrier) and true to form, their grand-puppy chewed everything, including a step on the stair case leading to the second floor.
They were calling to replace the flight of stairs. Ok, I go over to see the damaged, estimate the yardage and prepare to send them to Lowes or Home Depot to pick out an inexpensive carpet. The damage is not good, the whole step is torn up, but I ask if they happen to have any extra carpet left over…(always ask for the extra scraps, if a good amount, they come in handy), luckily for them, they did!
i removed the damaged step, replaced with extra piece they had, and VOILA! all is well in puppy land. I think they were going to take some of the money they saved and buy a toddler gate for the next time they dog sit..I dont want to brag but I might have helped to avoid a family fued.
